why we give
The Bible describes different types of giving:
Tithes – God commands his people to regularly give ten percent back to him as a starting point. Your tithes are used to fund the ongoing ministries of our church and to support our mission partners. Because you give, we host over 400 college students each week, provide teaching and fun activities for kids and students, help local organizations such as Renewal Ranch and the Conway Ministry Center, serve on short-term mission trips, and support missionaries around the world through the Cooperative Program.
Offerings – gifts above and beyond tithes. Regular offerings accelerate programs such as building projects for both campuses.
Right now, we are preparing for future growth at both campuses through a campaign we call Above & Beyond.

Ephesians 3:20-21 says, “Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Our goal is to raise $3 million over the next three years. These funds will allow us to pay off existing debt and establish a building fund that prepares us for future expansion.
Here’s what we are asking of our church family:
- First, that every family would commit to faithful, consistent tithing to the general budget. This is the foundation that sustains our church's ongoing ministry and mission.
- Second, that every family would prayerfully consider giving above and beyond their tithe toward this goal. Consider setting up a recurring gift online to the Above & Beyond fund to help us meet this goal.

Common Questions
We have put systems in place to ensure the security and integrity of our church finances. That includes having an elected committee of church members who provide monthly oversight of our budget and spending. We also voluntarily submit to a detailed yearly audit of our finances by an outside firm.
